A rail-mounted bumping post for light-traffic service sidings and smaller cuts of cars. The post bolts through the rails; additional middle rails can reinforce the installation.
Features and application limits
- Manufacturer-listed maximum impact force: 400,000 lb.
- Intended for flat switching yards without a descending grade at the track end.
- Leave 3–4 ties of rail length behind the post.
- Standard finish: oxide primer red; optional yellow finish by quotation.
- The illustrated sign holder and solar warning light are separate accessories.
