Cast-steel straddle rerailers for standard freight cars and locomotives. One placement is designed to guide the wheels back onto the track; a chain and hook secure each rerailer to the rail.
Features and application limits
- Use matching rerailers as a pair; units are sold individually.
- Maximum axle load: 72,000 lb (36 US tons).
- 4018-01-L/R: 90–140 lb rail, 190 lb each.
- 4018-02-L/R: 70–110 lb rail, 146 lb each.
