Cast-steel McCarty rerailers provide two-way rerailing for locomotives and heavy freight cars. Each unit spans two ties and hooks onto the rail head; carrying handles help resist movement. The design does not require spiking or wedges.

- Use one inside and one outside rerailer; each is sold separately.
